Corsair H70 Review

The Corsair H70 CPU Cooler is a high performance CPU cooling unit. Installers will have an easier time mounting the low profile pump and improved cold plate to the CPU and the higher-performance radiator has almost twice the surface and more room for liquid to get cool before it returns to the cold plate as with other models. Included in the Hydro Series H70 are twin high-performance 120mm fans that are optimized for push-pull configuration, allowing for maximum airflow through the radiator. Anyone looking for a high performance CPU cooler should seriously consider the Corsair H70.

Corsair H70 Review

The 2-year warranty that comes with the unit is a nice plus because if the pump goes the company will replace the unit. This CPU cooler can fit into the back of the case, leaving the middle and front clear, a real plus for those who love to tinker with PCs. The modular design is a definite positive for this unit because it will fit all major Intel and AMD socket types. Majority of the reviewers agreed that airflow of their cases are significantly improved with the excellent cooling performance by the Corsair Hydro H70.

The instructions that come with the purchase are on the vague side so installation can take longer than is necessary. As with any cooler, use a tape measure before making purchase to be sure it will fit into the case or else the size will be a detriment to you. One thing that must be mentioned that the company could improve on is that the tubing to and from the radiator is not at all flexible enough, limiting the available configurations.

The Corsair H70 is for any person who regularly builds his or her own systems because if you are not experienced it may be tricky and require someone more experienced to assist you. This is after installed a high-performance cooling system that is well worth the trouble to install and the price. However, if you have limited budget and do not overclock as often then you might want to consider the other models with cheaper price.
